Strip 29: The Tomb
At this point, I’m getting just a little bit giddy about the progress we’ve made so far in the story. It might not seem like much - hell, it might seem like Dy-Gar is back at square one, or worse - but we’ve got this story on a slow burn, and it’s just about time to turn up the heat. I felt that Dy-Gar and his world required a good deal of early development in order to allow readers to understand and in some way sympathize, though not necessarily agree with, a homicidal robot who could be the bastard son of Ultron and SHODAN. Whether we succeeded or not is up to you, but either way, it’s done, and I can only hope that, as we move on into the future, this solid foundation will support an epic story arc that we will be proud to present and our audience will find a pleasure to read.
